Nashville Children’s Theatre brings Snuggery to Lipscomb University

Students of one NCT camp learned how to make a fight believably while on stage. They threw punches, slaps, and kicks but without hurting each other during the stage combat class.


Tear Down This Wall: TYA/USA’s 2019 Festival & Conference

The conference began with a conversation between best-selling YA novelist Jason Reynolds and playwright Idris Goodwin, producing artistic director of StageOne Family Theatre in Louisville, Ky. Goodwin was commissioned by Nashville Children’s Theatre and Metro Theater Company of St. Louis to adapt Reynolds’s novel Ghost, which premiered at NCT this past January.
